2017 Arnold Sports Festival Qualifier

This meet is the only qualifier for the Ohio Classic Push-Pull event at the 2017 Arnold Sports Festival. 25 Ohio lifters will be selected by invitation only.

Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st, 2016

Women's weight classes through the 63 kg class will lift on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Women's weight classes including 72 kg and up will lift on Sunday, July 31, 2016.

Men's weight classes through the 83 kg class will lift on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Men's weight classes including 93 kg and up will lift on Sunday, July 31, 2016.

Registration will cut off at 250 lifters or on June 30, 2016.

Included in meet fee is entry into one event of the lifter's choice.
Additional events may be selected at an additional cost of $25 per event.

  • Note to Ohio Lifters: To qualify for the 2017 Arnold Ohio Classic Push-Pull event, you must enter the Push-Pull event in this meet as one of your events. You may enter more than one event, i.e. Full Power and Push-Pull.


    Included in meet fee is entry into the open division.
    Additional divisions may be selected at an additional cost of $25 per division.

    Will commence within 30 minutes after the completion of all lifting for the day. Awards will be given for:

  • Best lifter both Male and Female based on WILKS score.
  • First through third place in each division of each event.
  • Eligibility and rules:

    All participants must be current USAPL members. (Register online: USAPL Membership Application)

    Minimum 10% of participants will be drug tested by urinalysis.

    Required equipment:

    Singlet; T-shirt; knee-high socks for the deadlift; brief-type non-supportive underwear; and athletic shoes.

    Optional for raw competition: belt; wrist wraps; and neoprene knee sleeves. See rules and approved list at www.usapowerlifting.com.
